Transfers...

This morning we got news of what's happening this transfer, which is on Wednesday. Both Elder Bradshaw and I will be transferred. Elder Martinez is going to stay in this area for his last six weeks of his mission. Elder Bradshaw is going to become a District leader and he will be in an English area speaking English. He doesn't like that very much but he will be a good District leader.

I'm just going. It's kinda hard to leave this area and all the people I have grown to love. The members are so great in this branch! And we have been working with so many great people! When we got into this area we didn't have hardly anyone to work with, and now we have so many families that have been prepared and are ready!! It is sad to know that I won't be able to be here and help them follow Christ. But at the same time I know that they will be in good hands and that there are other people who I can serve.

We had Dia de los Nacciones on Saturday! It turned out really good and was a lot of fun. None of our investigators came, which was a bummer. But some of the members brought their founds and we were able to talk with them. Also, on Sunday Ernesto Rodriguez brought a friend who was really excited to learn. The members here are super awesome.

Anyways, I'll fill y'all in next week.
Be Happy and Smile

Status Report

Weather: Perfect
It's getting colder already and we can open our windows at night, which is nice

Weight: 16 lbs
According to Walmart, I've gained 16 pounds. I guess that's what happens when you eat torillas and hardly exercise.

Spirits: High
Everything is going good here in Georgia.

We are going to have a party this Saturday. Dia de las Nacciones or Day of the Nations. Since the people in the branch are from different countries everyone is going to bring food from their country. It's going to be great! There is also going to be dancing and it's going to be a great activity to bring investigators to!

Love Y'all

General Conference

"Muy Buenos Dias" (D. Todd Christofferson)

Last Thursday we had New Missionary Training. It lasted for half the day and was great! On Friday we went to the Temple in the morning. After we went to the Temple we were allowed to watch "Meet the Mormons." Then we had General Conference. It has been quite the weekend and I almost don't know what to do with all that I have learned.

"Meet the Mormons" is really really good and you all should watch it. President Sullivan is a Bishop in the movie because it was filmed a couple years ago.

General Conference! This was the best General Conference I have ever witnessed. I guess as a missionary some of the things they say have more meaning. I don't have the time (slow typer) to tell you all the things I learned. But y'all can listen to them and receive your own revelation that will mean more to you anyway. I just wanted to talk about President Monson.

There was a lot said about following the Prophet. And what the Prophet told us to do was follow the example of our Savior, Jesus Christ. President Monson just gave us the instructions of life. If you have questions, if things are going wrong, if things are going right, if your happy, if your sad, whatever is going on in your life what you need to do is look to Christ. He is the way.

My prayer is that we can all follow his example and find the peace and joy that comes as a result. I love you all and I pray for you.
